Rivers

Rivers is six months younger than Piper and Yadi and brings a softer energy to the pack. At two and a half years old, she is sweet, loving, nurturing and easygoing. She is the kind of dog who settles in close, leans into affection and makes cuddling feel like part of the daily routine.

Most of the time, Rivers is respectful of everyone else's space. She is comfortable being near the action without needing to control it, and her gentle nature makes her an easy presence in a busy multi-dog household.

Rivers enjoys movement on her own terms. A slow stroll on a leash is not her idea of a perfect outing. Give her safe open ground and the freedom to run, and her whole personality comes alive.

Her favorite toy will always be a ball, especially when the Chuckit comes out. The farther the ball flies, the happier she is to chase it down and come back ready for another throw.

Rivers loves attention and does not always enjoy sharing it. If another dog interrupts her cuddle time or starts receiving too much affection, Rivers may object with her voice. She is also vocal when excitement completely takes over.

That little jealous streak is part of what makes her Rivers. She is loving, expressive and happiest when she has room to run, a ball to chase and someone nearby who understands that cuddle time belongs to her.
